Callback Widget-Mode

The call-back Service can be used in Server or Widget mode. This documentation describes how to use the tenios Callback Service in Widget Mode. You can read about another mode on the Call-Back Server Mode page. There are two ways how to integrate the callback widget into a website:

  1. As a SCRIPT tag
  2. As an IFRAME

At the beginning it is necessary to activate Widget Mode Callback functionality for your account. You need to contact our tenios support and ask to activate this service for your account.

Integration as a SCRIPT tag

You need to insert the following SCRIPT tag inside the HEAD tag of your site. The placeholders for the data-callback-config-id and data-initializer-id must be replaced by your own values. You will find the data-callback-config-id value on the Callback page of the tenios portal. The data-initializer-id value can be an arbitrary name.

  If you want to integrate the callback widget as a SCRIPT tag you should execute following steps:

  1. Go to the Callback Configuration page on the tenios portal.
  2. Create a new callback configuration. After this you will receive a callback config id (e.g. a7c247e9-4a3b-4407-86a0-fe2f2afe46fd).
  3. Add a BUTTON tag (it can also be A or DIV tag) with a unique id attribute to the BODY of your website. Every time when somebody clicks on this button the Callback Widget appears on the page.
  4. Add the SCRIPT tag to the HEAD tag and save changes.

Integration as an IFRAME

You need to insert the following IFRAME into the BODY tag of your website. The placeholder XXX-XXX-XXX must be replaced by your own callback config id.

If you want to integrate the callback widget as the IFRAME tag you should execute following steps:

 

  1. Go to the Callback Configuration page on the tenios portal.
  2. Create a new callback configuration. After this you will receive a callback config id (e.g. a7c247e9-4a3b-4407-86a0-fe2f2afe46fd).
  3. Add the IFRAME tag to the BODY tag and save changes.
